1.Certificate from college with student name , course of study and duration of course.
2. Translate this into Arabic
3. Justice ministry verification of Arabic translation and stamps 2Kd +1 KD ( This can be done in Liberation tower during evenings too)
4. Then MOFA 5 KD stamp
5. Go to your area immigration office, find where is the Excuse section ( This is what they call this here ).Get a form from them type it and submit with all the above documents with 2 PP photos and copy of PP of the student ,residence page and the page containing the date of exit from kuwait.
They will give a certificate of excuse ( staying outside the country for more than six months) after 1 or 2 days
send the copy of certificate to your son and let him attach in his PP.to show the immg officials when ever he come after 6 months.
Original you keep here with you.
These steps i did 3 yrs ago.
Now recent procedure if some one has done it will post here..
Good luck.

@kiran..
See my post above. i did 3 years ago..
Its just an exemption to stay outside the country for more than six months...
so in this context,No need for any attestation.
I think most of the procedure we ourselves complicate by doing unnecessary attestation etc by hear say...

Is this process still valid in 2019 or are there any variations? Also how do I get the bonafide notarized in the Philippines? I study at a med school at Davao city, Philippines.

What I have done for my son (there may be short cuts; not sure): 1) Bonafide certificate from the college (to my knowledge they don''t accept school ones). 2) To be attested by Notary, Education Ministry, Kuwait Embassy, Foreign affairs. (All these can be done as a package offered by some service providers in India / Kuwait); for me it cost KWD.40/-; check other sources.. 3) Attested by Indian Embassy in Kuwait; there is a form to be submitted along with the certificate; available on Embassy website; KWD.3/- 4) Attested by Foreign Affairs in Kuwait; KWD.5/- 5) Translated to Arabic (authorized translator); KWD.2/- 6) Application form (specific form available with typing centers); KWD.0.750 - KWD.1/- 7) Photographs. 8) Copies of passport, civil ID of child and father. 9) Submit to the exemption department in respective passport office (*) Certificate will be issued on the same day. 10) You have to send the original to your child in order to carry while traveling. 11) Period of extension will be 18 months (6 months + 12 months).

My daughter is studying in europe.I am keeping her residece permit in kuwait. Every six minth she enter kuwait and then leave so that residece is not cancelled. She was to enter in kuwait in the month of May but due to the current situation, she cannot come because no flights. Her residence is valid till end this year. If situaltion become better in coming months and international flighs starts, can she still enter kuwait.
