Duplicate BC
If your cousin is born in Kuwiat then his birth will be on record.Tell him to go to the Dept.of Births & Deaths. Location Hawally same area as the Traffic Dept. Exactly behind the Police Dept.Same road as GBK. Go to room #19 it has records for births from 1900 to 1990. Show civil ID at counter and they will check if they have his record. If available they will ask you to return in a weeks time. When you go back they will ask for a 2 KD stamp which they will place on Duplicate Birth Certiicate. Then he has to go to room #1 to get department's manager's signature and finally signature from head of department. His office is on the first floor. First office left of stairs. After thay proceed to MOFA place a 5 KD stamp on the birth certificate and get it stamped and signed then proceed to Indian Embassy. Get Misc form put in request for Birth Cert. They will ask for copy of original birt cert which has original embassy register number. Which of course you dont have. Expalin that it is lost but have a duplicate without the original embassy register number. This will no doubt make it hard but your record does exist. They will take your application and your contact number and will initiate a search request. If and when they do find it they will call you. Please note that this will take any where between 1 week to 3 weeks. When they do call you; proceed back to the embassy where in they will 1)Restamp/Notorise your duplicate birth certificate with the Embassy of India Kuwait Stamp and put the originial register number on it. 2)Give you an official birth certificate document stating your birth in Kuwait is officilaly documented in the Embassy
