@John, no need to attest the relationship certificate, actually they don't respect this embassy document anymore.. a document like Birth Certificate with parents name is important. Salary minimum 450 KD I guess.
I don't think they approve if your parents are born before 1950. That's the rule.
@AJ, 3 Months, Tourist, Mishref.
Clearance Certificate is used to proof there is no any legal case on the requester.

That means we can get Visit visa for Mother in Law by using Attested Marriage certificate? As you know, parents name from both sides are mentioned in that.
Can anybody please clarify?

In my marriage certificate, only father's name is mentioned from both sides. And I need to apply visit visa for my mother-in-law. In that case, whether marriage certificate will suffice as MIL's passport has her husband's name and it will proof relationship or this will not work and I have to start working on the birth certificate which will have names of mother and father both?
Pl guide me...

Hi Karuna
Thanks for providing new visit visa Requirement step by step.
Additionally i have 1 query regarding visit visa for my 12 year old son.I got the visit visa yesterday.
In last year visit visa format it was mentioned clearly that "TEMPORARY RESIDENCE FOR 3 MONTHS" on bottom part of front side visa.
But in new visit visa format its not mentioned 3 month .They asked me 3KD stamp. In new format visa there is still 2 place to put stamp. Is it means that my son visit visa is for only 1 month and it can be extended up to 3 month?
If any other members can clarify my query then it will be very helpful. Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Dear Sanjeet, With respect to your below query, please check behind your visa copy there are different categories of visa issued by Kuwait. Visit visa is for 1 month and Tourist Visa is for 3 month. Check in your visit visa right above the period of entering Kuwait there is a word called "ALGARZ" in Arabic, if it is "SIYAHAAH" the visa is for 3 month if it is "ZIYAARAH" it is for 1 month. Regards,

i agree and everything is same as u mentioned in New visit visa has one month validity after entering into kuwait. But still yet to know it can be extend further more or not. But i heard once wife/child reach kuwait immigration they will stamp with extended validity date(3months) at the airport itself.
is it true or not? but my guess is i can do renewal as well through jawazzat for further validity..

@ Indian, my Mother-in-law got Tourist visa, mentioned "ALGARZ as SIYAHAAH" so it means she can stay 3 months from the entry, or is it necessary to go immigration to extend after completing one month. Kindly advise.

I have taken visa for my mother (she is 58) from Ahmadi Jawazat last week. Many people had told me I will not get the visa for parents as I am unmarried. They have issued the visa for 3 months on the basis of Relationship certificate issued by embassy alone without any hassles like birth certificate translations etc. I can share the procedure I followed in detail if anyone is in need.

Hi Anand,
How are you doing? Please kindly share details how were you able to get 3 months visit visa for your mother. Currently as per the new rule .. they have stated only 30 days. Also is their age restriction still if yes then what age limit are they allowing the visa for parents ?
Do reply it will help me a lot to plan their travel and tickets.
Thanks Sachin
