Let me add few points for residency here under: For newborn residency carry 2 copies of applications with required documents and originals as well (birth certificate, parents passport and civil ids etc), go to MOI jawazat, take a token for application recept counter, he will direct to computer counter, take a token under new born category and they will register the baby, pay the insurance online and wait for some time as it takes time to come in the system, go to the application eceipt counter and get the application stamped, go to cashier and pay the fee 100kd for private and no fee for Govt, get the receipt and along with application go to residency counter and pay necessary residency fee by knet and residency is done. Hope this will help you. I have done this recently.

@ayaz ahmed...... Could you please explain this line "pay the fee 100kd for private and no fee for Govt." You mean if sponsor is Govt. employee then no residency fee?
