Bad experience at Yiaco apollo medical center

I had been to the physician at yiaco apollo center Salmiya for a flu symptoms. It is a terrible nightmare to visit this center. I paid 11 KD consultation, 18 KD lab tests and 22 KD for medicines- Total 51 KD as I was being scared by the doctor with various terrible diagnosis. None of them was useful with no response, so I went to local clinic where they told me to stop all these useless medications and gave me just Brufen tabs and I was OK after 2 days. What a waste of time and money. So beaware of this type of cheating. If others also have similar experiences please share.

NEVER VISIT EYE DOCTOR (OPTHAMOLIGIST) IN APPOLLO

I used to go there for regular eye test there for my son of 9 years, but after wasting lot of time and money, the dr. has given me a wrong eye sight number. He called me many times saying he wated to do test. They all are pick pocketers with wrong diagnosis. PL. STOP GOING THERE....

I couldn''t agree more with you @victim. I had a Viral fever (not Carona) for 2 weeks in Sept, 2020. I went to the doctor at Apollo - charged 15 KWD - File opening - 15 kwd blood test - 10 KWD urine test - 16KWD Chest scan - Medicines - 7 KWD - after all this - the doctor says -Dr.Lingaiah to be precise - Idk what it is. (Also made me do a PCR test, inspite of having no symptoms, cause he wasn''t able to figure it out - 30 KWD)
Dr. Lingaiah says, go to a Government hospital or try elsewhere. I dont know what is the reason for your sickness. after spending 80 KWD THE DOCTOR SAYS I''M SORRY. PLEASE VISIT A CLINIC OR ANOTHER HOSPITAL I CAN''T HELP YOU!!!

The following day, I went to Government hospital, and after 2 hours of tests and results and waiting and drips, doctor said you have viral fever, its affecting your liver. have these tablets and come back for another test. I took the medicines he gave, and I was fine in 3-4 Days Alhamdulilah. I went to private for 8 - 9 days, no affect.

Anyway just curios to know what medicine you got from govt for viral fever?
