BUS TICKETS FOR children IN CITY BUS & KGL BUSES

I would like to know what is the criteria for travelling with children in City bus and KGL buses
City bus & KGL buses are forcefully asking to buy tickets for children where the govt rule states that children under the age of 18 are free of travel.
There is no rule in city bus and kgl buses.
It has to be made know to public if the children are to be charged, the drivers make up their own rule -is it so..

You have to show school id card to driver in order to avail free ride for children.

And to All these people who are creating rukus by posting useless reply. Please dont make fun of queries.

Only KPTC allow children free of charge. Private companies won''t give any concession, because the drivers get bata on collection. They won''t allow the children to school also, but KPTC does.

I have an experiance from city bus.when one time me with family going by city the driver told u have to take ticket must kids are not free in bus..so i took..actually we 4 people going to dajeed so i paid 1.200 kd.. the same will get taxi of 1 kd or 1.250 kd.. another time after this we going to al -rai me gave 1.200 to the driver then he ask why? 2 tickets yea..i told what about kids..then he told me how many kids are going here there free in bus daily ...then why you take..just go and sit relax...like that.he issued two tickets and gave 600 fils back
