Interesting question! I assume you don''t have any financial responsibility towards you and your family. If you have any, you should make those responsibilities as your purpose. If you have reached so far, you can go back to your childhood and think about what were the things you always wanted to do or what you wished for. Because those were the things which define real YOU.
Some extra things you can do on daily basis is meditation & exercise(Yoga-Pranayama/Gym).
These are my personal views only. You can share your views too. I''d like to know more.

same here bro. Living a good life, done everything for my family. Just like a robot, wake up, work, eat, sleep..repeat. This goes on, theres nothing much in life here. No social life, no more honest friends or relatives. Our kids and spouse are only interested in their own things, as i said we are only machines now. dead within...

Life is like a wheel
My financial responsibilities towards my family are over. my children well settled and my elders gone for a good. It is just me and my spouse. We have travelled the world. we have enough for a simple and comfortable living. Now what?

I would suggest you to help those who are needy in terms of experience, education and financial aids. You can share your expertise of your field and provide mentorship.

Helping others is also good. But dont even expect a tinge of gratitude. I gave my family loan amount years back still they dont give it back and now i am in deparate need of money for health concerns and nobody is ready to payback atleast little As per my experience, Live Your life.Ones own happiness is also required. We end up sacrificing everything for others and what we get is only neglect.

Then why you are still continuing here? Go to your state, go to any remote village, built a small village house and start educating the local children in that village... or make good connection with the local village ladies and start some small scale industries to empower them... or go and settle in some cities and start working with some good organisations which are doing these kind of village empowerment.

With an unending greed to provide for family and safeguarding their future , we change goals periodically.... So always, there is something that we try to reach...
Even if one say "have accomplished everything" in all humility and gratitude... your Zest for life should put you on your toes....
but if one insists.... then would say, could be Unpopular opinion among many - If nothing interests or drives you....it could be a sign of depression my friend.. Pls see a Psychologist..

Life is like a wheel
Thank you Friends, For your valuable suggestions. It did create some clarity in my thought process. FYI I am a lady in my fifties. Devoted to my religion and service of all in need of help. We invest so much energy and resources in our children''s upbringing that once they are independent, we are at loss , as to what to do with our spare time and energy. @ Raj your suggestion was good but village people are too independent and self sufficient. They hardly care for our gyan. Only money is welcome.

Life without Purpose!
Living like this is animal life. Humans must have purpose and objectives. I think you can set your targets in the following aspects: --Family --Career --Self (especially hereafter)
If you don''t have anything related to the first two or you feel you have accomplished related to the first two think about the third one. set some objectives for hereafter too. Because that is never-ending.

Take a step back and see what were your wishes when you were a kid/young or when you were occupied with the circumstances in life. Below could help you to process your thoughts.
1. You might thought of learning a new language (Arabic) when you moved here. You can try that 2. You can join a crafts class (weaving, stitching, etc) 3. You might thought of learning music 4. Going to that one city/country you really wanted to visit. If you have already been there go again this time stay for longer duration than usual 5. Learn to swim, yeah I understand you are in your fifties you can still try it gives a sense of fulfilling and keeps you fit. If not swimming, walk everyday at least for 30 minutes 6. Journal daily, I know you can read and write decent English/mother tongue try it helps you to process your thoughts 7. Read books 8. Lastly and most importantly meditate. Try this to the best of your efforts. Meditation is all about closing eyes sitting in peace doing nothing (also no sleeping). You will eventually stop processing zillion thoughts and get to no thoughts stage (Sunya Sthithi). This is the best thing you can do with your life. Try to do as much meditation as you can, keep increasing time and reach your own new highs.
