Buying from Pakistanis-- Be aware, Most of them are liars, and scrap cars they cleaning and polishing and sell out just like new cars..The biggest frauds I ever seen.. Buying from Misris-- Most of them not liars and Cars u may get at cheap price But inside the cars will looks like drainage manhole.. Buying from Mallus- Cars will be neat and clean with low maintenance but you have to buy the cars from them like golds.. Buying from Ladies used car- Cars interior will looks like a shaikhs car as its cleans and makes perfumes everytime in every stops at signals..But Exteriors !!! Mechanically they dont know how its running..How the engine and other parts are working..even they wont care about the irregular sounds nor even oil services..So dont keep much hope with engine and gears..If its runs much more you are lucky.. My best option-- Buying from Indian mechanics..

@ BP, These are the minimum a layman should check himself before going to a technician. 1. Exterior - Make sure the paint, lights and glasses (except windshield) are original factory made. 2. Engine room - Check for any abnormal sounds/vibrations/leaks. Common visible faulty areas are radiator leaks, engine mounting which causes vibrations, ac, timing belts and fans 3. Under the hood - Check for any leaks even if it is a drop. Only the allowable liquid should be ac water. any other presence of water under the hood is a problem. this can be checked by moving the vehicle and checking on the floor. 4. Inside the cabin - Check steering tightness, gear movements, vibrations, abnormal sounds. Check steering wheel thoroughly. 5. Driving - Check if the vehicle goes smoothly without swinging. if swinging shocks are gone. check if you get correct turning while steering. any abnormal vibrations is a problem.
These are the MINIMUM. Check this yourself before going to a technician to save money.

@Chalti ka naam gaadi, Certified cars are expensive and overrated. The dealers charge is high. Also most of the certified cars the dealer sells are 5 years or less which in my opinion does not need any certification. If we do some homework before checking, most of the faults can be identified. If you have a good technician with basic tools, you can always use him and save money from certified cars. Good certified cars are provided by all dealers. But go only to dealers if you are going for certified cars and dont go to any other agency which provided certified cars. They have low maintenance. I have seen may third party certified dealers working with a basic mechanic and low maintenance. So if you really want a certified car, BEST go to dealer directly.

Buying used car from used cars showroom:- Car interior looks like brand new and outside polished like never used , but after 6 months you will have surprise which will empty pocket.
-Buying car from certified showrooms:- Car Interior good, Exterior good and no headache for 1 year -Buying car from individuals:- check the car with expert service guys , most preferred cars are Japanese cars for gulf climate. (Lasting & Reliable ). buying from Indians doesn''t mean that you get clean car.. also buying from lady driven car doesn''t mean the car is soft . if someone planning to sell car, they pay 10KD to get serviced interior / exterior look like new. I would prefer to buy car from Filipino. its all about luck and expertise of the service guy.

When you plan to buy a vehicle simply follow these three steps, irrespective of judging nationality wise or state wise. No one is perfect in this world. Every nationality there are good and bad people.
Take the vehicle to diagnostic centre and do computerized check:
1) Chasis - This shows if the vehicle ever met an major accident and got repaired 2) Engine - It shows the capacity of Engine. Make sure the percentage should not be less than 75% 3) Gear - It shows the performance of gear transformation
