hi every 1,
i have a doubt so i want u peoples help pls kindly try to help..actually my post is of sales man and in my salary paper 400kd is mentioned but to be frank i dont have any degree certificate rite now so is it possible i can apply far istamara????

DRIVING LICENSE RENEWAL (Updated)16-08-2018
Here are some guideline in renewing Driving License at Farwaniya (18 No. Visa)
1)Fill the Application
2)Documents Required:
(a)Application Form duly filled and signed by Company’s authorized signatory
(b)Affix One Photo (4x6) on Application and keep one extra
(c)Staple the Original License & Stamp to be affixed on Application.
- COPY OF FOLLOWING:
(d)Signature Verification of Company’s authorized signatory, certified by MOI - Traffic Dept
(e)Company License
(f)Work Permit issued by Ministry of Social Affairs & Labors, duly signed by Co.’ Authorized Signatory and sealed.
(g)Driving License
(h)Civil ID
(i)Passport
3)Visit Traffic Dept.in noon 12.00 (Farwaniya) for token or enroll there
4)If you need eye test go to the clinic where ministry is designated.
5)Office will open after 4.00 pm. (reach 3.30 pm,).
6)Counter for receiving will be closed at 7.00 pm
7) Driving license will be valid according to the visa duration.(one year for least.1 kd stamp for one year.

This information is 6 years old. Now renewal is not easy. There is no such facility in liberation tower. Can anyone post updated procedure to renew driving license ? which will be helpful to others.

## Driving License Update for Government Employee - Farwaniya Muroor (Sep 2018) ##
I was there at 1.30PM. Followed the crowd & wrote name on the sheet kept
near typing area. By 2.00PM, an official shooed eveyone off the building
and latched the main gate :) Entire crowd was waiting outside for a short while.
After 10 minutes of waiting, everyone got back to the building and queued up in the
first floor. Crowd slowly started swelling up. Police man showed up at around 3.30.
First thing he did was tearing of that "LIST" where everyone wrote their name.
Then he yelled " ONLY FOR PEOPLE WHOSE LICENSE EXPIRING TODAY". Sent off so many!
If your dates are close by, hang around there.
Finished of the process by 5.
Lesson learned
1. Be there by 3PM is just enough.
2. Eye test was not required. Don't keep that paper in your application.
You may keep it as standby.( I am over 50 & wear glasses)
3. Documents (Typed application which is sealed & stamped by your organization, Salary
certificate, Copies of Civil ID, Driving License & Passport copy with residence)
4. Preferably staple the License to the application.
5. Stamp based on your residence period
