Take all the documents with the old house contract and the cancellation slip which was given to you during your electricity cancellation with the bank statement showing 125KD credited to your account and go to south surra MEW office. They will help you.

Nowadays we need not go to South Surra MEW office. We can settle these issues at our local MEW Office itself. When i cancelled my Electricity, i got all the job done from Abu Halifa MEW office itself. Refund also was credited in a month. Before going to South Surra, check with ur local MEW Office first.

This is not the issue of cancellation. This is the issue which occurred after cancellation. So he needs to go to the main office as I had the same issue regarding some payment.
If this can be settled through your area MEW branch then well and good.
