Follow up with them rather than posting n boasting here.... Just ask them if the laptop is ok or not ?..... If so just get it back ...go to hawally get a charger.... If the warranty is there for the charger they have to ship the replacement from hp ... And these days due to corona and the whole demand and supply issue for laptops and IT stuff if you read the news don''t expect much.

@ android @ jommy I bought the HP Laptop from Eureka Salmiya. Ignoring other useless comments. I just wanted to know how to escalate.

This is a serious issue. Please send out a tweet to trump, Modi and also to Obama. Hopefully they will act swiftly and send you a new laptop charger so you can use it to watch videos on hub.

Contact ProPrint, (https://proprintsolutions.net/) they are the authorised service center for HP.
From the serial number of your laptop, they will figure out all. Alternatively you can check the warranty status online on HP website. If you are out of warranty; then better buy a charger from Hawally.
Note: You bought the laptop recently doesn''t mean your warranty with manufacturer is still valid.

Customer
Dear,
This is double trouble. HP and Eureka. I had the similar experience from Eureka Fahaheel with HP laptop about 10 years back. Hard disk crashed just within 1 week after purchase. I was new to Kuwait at that time and didn''t had proper idea a what has to be done. took it back to Eureka and the masri salesman there was kind enough to advise me to take it to local shop in Fahaheel in order to save money on taxi to and fro to HP service centre as I didn''t had vehicle at that time. Fahaheel IT experts screwed the system further with multiple formatting. Now I lost chance for warranty also, my foolishness and ignorance!! Later my friend who is in IT sector helped to resolve the problem with minimum cost by replacing HDD. Of course i ended up spending more than what my best habibi at Eureka attempted to save for me... Carried on with woes of this semi screwed up system for almost a decade. Now got a mac from xcite and its 3 months plus going on fine..hope it will serve me like that for longer time.
HP..don''t expect great quality and Eureka don''t expect great service, that''s what i wrote double woes. Raise this to their management, HP after sales support, put in on social media. Let them realize..
Good luck.

Update: 15th Day After persistent follow-up, the service center chat-bot were kind enough to inform that they need to replace the mother board (of this brand-new? Laptop). They have also taken the trouble to write an email to the "supplier" for the "spare part" (really..after 15 days ?) Service center is an authorized HP service center managed by Pro Print. The lappy is under warranty. Key take away... 1. WILL NOT BUY from big showrooms. Bin Khouldoon street vendor will give lesser price and will also provide prompt after sale service. 2. Tauba Tauba with HP.. I wrote on their global forum, no response. I asked for escalation numbers and the number given is out of service. HA HA HA HP
