SAMSUNG J5 Prime

Friends I bought a Samsung J5 prime last year and never used a sim in it. Recently inserted a sim card and it doesn't connect network SIM. SAMSUNG tech told me the mother board have some problem and it is better to buy a new phone. Anybody faces same problem please advise. The warranty expired. 66861835

That is why they provide you warranty for a year in case of any factory defects. Why did you even buy it if you had no plans to use it? In my opinion its better to just accept the loss and move on.
