I am a recent graduate from Mumbai and got a job as a Junior Accountant, in order for the company to give me the position and change the designation on my visa they need me to register with KAAA. In order to hold an official post as an accountant (visa designation title & position) in a Kuwaiti Company, one has to register their BCom or relevant Accountant degree with the Kuwait Association of Accountant & Auditors (KAAA - office in Salmiya). Since this year March 2023 they are accepting your attested degree and also mandatory is to physically verify the degree by giving an Accounts Examination (TEST). Has anyone in this forum appeared for their testing criteria / aware of the questions asked and conditions you can pass the exam to qualify for an "Accountant" position. Thanks in advance.

Dear Frndz,

I have already appeared and cleared the test. It will be a basic accounting test. if you are really an accountant and work in accounts it will be cleared. kindly revise your higher-class accounting i.e. Types of assets, liabilities, Expenses, Income, Balance Sheet, Equity, depreciation, Share equity & dividends, basic accounting formulas, and rules.

congrats.... is it descriptive or objective type test? Is there any interview in addition to Test?

I gave my exam today.

The total number of questions were 50, all were multiple choice questions.

Below are some recalls from the question paper
1. Perform Depreciation based on straight line method.
2. Select which one of the below is not a current asset.
3. If the total of assets acquired is $xxxx , and the liabilities are $xxxx . Then the equity will be? (select the number from below options)

Hi friends, i have cleared the exam. it was easy only, 50 questions all MCQ we should get atleast 50% mark. exam fee 60 kd then 50 KD for the certificate and membership card after exam. all basic ques only. just try the below link and practice quizzes and you can google basic accounting ques also.
