Carmel School recently held its highly anticipated O Grade ceremony, an acknowledgement of Outstanding Academic Performance of students from Grades V-VIII on 4 May 2024. The event, hosted in the school's grand auditorium, was a testament to the dedication and perseverance of the students.
Presiding over the function as Chief Guest was Mr. Binumon Principal of Indian Community School. Sr. Christy Maria, Principal of Carmel School in her opening address welcomed the Chief Guest and praised the recipients for their exceptional accomplishments, highlighting their unwavering commitment to excellence. She emphasized the importance of hard work, resilience, and integrity, values that are at the core of Carmel School's ethos.
The Program commenced with National Anthems of both Kuwait and India, followed by the recitation of the Holy Koran, the prayer and the prayer dance seeking the blessings of the Almighty.
The ceremony attended by proud parents, supportive faculty members, and fellow students, were treated to a great blend of song, dance and a skit based on the true story of Sudha Chandran who continued dancing inspite of losing a leg.
The Chief Guest Mr. Binumon in his address, emphasized the theme of the day ‘Success is the sum of small efforts’.
Each award recipient was presented with a personalized certificate and trophy, symbolizing their outstanding achievements and serving as a reminder of their potential to make a positive impact on the world.
