Having carved a niche for itself in the educational arena in Kuwait, the school is one of the biggest and the best among the CBSE schools in Kuwait. Serving about 6300 students, the school seeks to provide an integrated programme in training of the intellect, body and spirit of every child under its care. UIS is recognized by the Ministry of Education of Kuwait and is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, India. It prepares students for the All India Secondary School Examination (AISSE) and the All India Senior School Certificate Examination(AISSCE).

Other Facilities


The school has a well stocked library on the ground floor. Spacious Labs for Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science. Open Auditorium, Play Area, Art Room, Music Room are the other facilities.
