Kuwait Indian School was established on 14th November 1985 by Late Mr. Ibrahim Al-Qutaimi who was the Founder and Chairman of the school. The school at first was launched in Farwaniya as a Primary School. After the sad demise of Mr. Ibrahim in 2002, the school was transferred to Mrs. Hind Al-Qutaimi as the Chairperson Administrator and Miss Heyam Al-Qutaimi as the Personal Manager and Authorized Signatory. As the continuous growth of the school, the old premises had to  transfer to one of the Government School building at Jleeb Al- Shyoukh area in 2007 April and by 2010 the school extended up to Secondary level and by 2018 the school further extended to Senior Secondary level. The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, India with the Affiliation No-5930016. It is also recognized by the Ministry of Education, Kuwait. The medium of instruction in the school is English. Second language is Hindi/Urdu till Std X. French is offered as Optional Second language from Std V to Std X. Arabic is taught as a third  language to all students from Std-I to Std-VIII. Science, Commerce & Humanities Stream is offered to Class 11 and 12.

Other Facilities


The area of school campus is 2.5 acres. It has classes from Lower Kindergarten up to Class 12. We have well qualified teachers, excellent facilities which include well equipped Biology, Chemistry/Physics Science Labs, Computer Lab, Library, Music, Art and Craft, Physical Education, Clinic, a Multipurpose Auditorium, a huge play ground and a big play area for the Kindergarten children.

Achievements


The school encourages extracurricular activities such as Quiz, Sports, various competitions and exhibition to enhance the creative ability of the students and develop the personality of them. School has a big store for books and uniforms and has the transport facility too.
