"Sahel" app - the Kuwait government's unified window to facilitate all government transactions is working to launch the much awaited English version to it. "We are currently working on introducing the English version in upcoming updates," local media 'Kuwait Times' reported quoting 'Sahel' app’s official spokesperson Yousef Kazem.

The Arabic-only unified government application launched by the Kuwait with a purpose of facilitating government transactions for citizen and residents has greatly hindered the non-Arab speakers from accessing essential services through the platform.

"We are certain that there is a large segment of society, especially non-Arabic speakers, who need to easily access the e-services directly through the application. As we respect their concerns, we are currently working on introducing the English version in upcoming updates," the report stated quoting him as saying.

However he did not give any specific date for the launch of the English version.
