SMCA Kuwait, an organization of Syro Malabar faithful in Kuwait, recently held the Dukhrana Thirunal ( Feast of St. Thomas the Apostle) - Sabha Dinam Celebration.

The event took place at the Abbasiya Indian Central School, starting at 5:30 pm on Friday, July 12, 2024. The celebration was graced by the presence of Northern Arabia Syro Malabar Episcopal Vicar Fr. Johny Lonis Mazhuvanchery as the chief guest. The gathering was initiated by SMCA General Secretary Mr. George Vakyathinal and chaired by SMCA President Mr. Denny Kanjooparambil. Various dignitaries including Salmiya St. Teresa parish Assistant Vicar Fr. Johnson Nedumpurath, City Cathedral Assistant Vicar Fr. Sojan Paul, Ahmadi parish Assistant Vicar Fr. Gijo Thomas, AKCC Global Vice President Mr. Bobby Kayyalaparambil, and Womens Wing Adhoc Committee Treasurer Mrs. Rincy Thomas, SMYM President Mrs. Jinju Chacko, Baladeepthi President Miss. Kumari Tia Rose Thomas extended their greetings and addressed the gathering. The public meeting concluded with a vote of thanks by Treasurer Mr. Francis Paul.

The event was marked by a series of vibrant performances by over 200 artists, coordinated by various committees. Key committee members including Vice President Mr. Biju Ennamparayil, Joint Secretary Mr. Thomas Mundiyanil, Area Conveners Mr. Sijo Mathew, Mr. Francis Paul, Mr. Job Antony, Mr. Joby Varghese, Arts Convener Mr. Anil Zachariah, Social Welfare Committee Convener Mr. Monichan Joseph, Cultural Committee Convener In Charge Mr. Gigi Mathew, Media Convener Mr. Jiss Joseph Malieakal and others led the performances, making the event a grand success.
