Power disconnected from seven residential buildings for housing bachelors

The Hawalli Governorate Municipality branch has disconnected the power supply to seven buildings that were housing bachelors in violation of family residence regulations. Five of these buildings are located in the Jabria area and two in Salwa.

The Municipality's Public Relations Department confirmed that the campaign will continue according to the established plan, in cooperation with relevant government agencies such as the Ministries of Electricity, the Ministry of Interior, and the Public Authority for Civil Information.

Authorities have urged citizens and residents to cooperate with the Kuwait Municipality's competent departments by reporting the presence of bachelors in residential areas. Reports can be made via the hotline 139 or WhatsApp at 24727732, enabling the authorities to address these reports and implement control measures to evict bachelors, in accordance with the laws prohibiting singles from living in these areas.

Please don''t talk inhuman things. Alhamdulillah no bachelor in Kuwait till date has ever disturbed the peace of families staying anywhere and the bachelor just goes to work in the morning and comes back at night to sleep in their rooms. When MAK says such inhuman and evil things, you should also have the brain to tell us if there any buildings in
Kuwait that allow bachelors to stay there, which is nil. Then where will those without so called families stay in Kuwait???? In Kuwait, it seems like everything for an expat is illegal. Someone said that even the oxygen is being used up by the expats! What a pitiful situation!!!
