PACI stopped Home delivery service of Civil ID cards

The Public Authority for Civil Information PACI stopped the home delivery service of civil ID cards as the contract with the specialized company was not renewed, local daily reported.

Earlier, PACI introduced the home delivery of Civil ID cards by charging an additional 2 KD. PACI earns 650 fils from the Civil ID card holders while remaining amount goes to the delivery company.

PACI is now giving preference to the issuance of cards for domestic workers, citizens, and expats working in government ministries, while the delay will continue for issuing Civil ID cards for private company workers and dependent residence.
