MoE to terminate 1,815 expatriate teachers

Ministry of Education announced that it is terminating the contracts of 1,815 male and female expatriate teachers and 209 expatriate heads of departments by the end of the current academic year as part of its Kuwaitization policy, official spokesman for the ministry, Ahmed Al-Wahida, said.

The decision is based on the direct directives from the Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Hamad Al-Adwani.
