Ministry warns public not to enter Sabah Al-Ahmad Nature Reserve

The Ministry of Interior warned citizens and residents not to enter or approach the reserved areas of Sabah Al-Ahmad Nature Reserve in order to avoid any legal accountability.

The Ministry of the Interior indicated that the public security sector, in cooperation with the concerned authorities, took legal measures and applied the articles of Law No. 42 of 2014 regarding environmental protection against people who entered and approached natural reserves.

During the year 2022, 6 environmental cases were registered and 7 reports of violations were issued for those entered the reserve area by the authorities. The ministry called on everyone to abide by the law.
