1000's of expatriates flock to the residency affairs department on the first day of opening visit visa for families were send back for not booking prior appointment on 'Meta' platform.
As more details came on the first day of accepting visit visa applications from expatriates, sources clarified that prior booking on 'Meta' platform is mandatory and the booking is limited to 150 appointment only per day in each governorate, ie a total of 900 applicants only will be processed in all the goveronarets together.
Another mandatory condition is that the airline tickets for travelling within 1 month of the application date, booked on Kuwait's national carrier, must be included along with the application. The validity of visa is only one month, ie the visitor must reach Kuwait within a month of getting the visa. Any one violates the stay duration, both the visitor and the sponsor will be blacklisted.
As the airline ticket is mandatory, applicant must ensure that he is eligible with all the required conditions before booking the flight ticket.
