MOI called on public to adhere to the guidelines while celebrating National Holidays

The Ministry of Interior called on citizens and residents to adhere to guidelines and instructions while celebrating national holidays, stressing that any violation of the law will be dealt with firmly.

The Ministry of Interior said in a statement to the General Department of Security Relations and Media that the Ministry has completed all security and traffic preparations for the celebrations through a comprehensive plan.

Authorities stressed everyone about the need to adhere to the guidelines and instructions during the celebration of national holidays, which include preserving and respecting the national flag during and after the celebration, preserving public morals and public order, and not throwing waste, water balloons, or using foam, which are considered crimes punishable by law.

Authorities also stressed the need of adhering to the laws and instructions by the security personnel, pay attention while driving, and monitor the children for everyone’s safety. The emergency phone (112) receives all security, traffic and humanitarian reports around the clock.
