The Public Authority for Food and Nutrition recommend to withdraw all 'Kinder' brand food products from the country of origin Belgium as a precautionary measure in the Kuwaiti markets.
The authority’s decision came after an alerts were issued regarding the possibility of contamination of some Kinder brand products with salmonella bacteria, and based on the latest developments in the International Network of Food Safety Officials INFOSAN on April 9, 2022.
Earlier, the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition clarified that all food products, including the product mentioned in the European warning, are subject to laboratory tests to ensure its suitability for human consumption and its conformity with the approved standard specifications.
