Kuwait consumes about 42,000 cooking gas cylinders per day

The consumption of cooking gas cylinders in Kuwait witnessed an increase of about 4.3%, reaching 15.61 million cylinders during the fiscal year 2022- 23, compared to 14.96 million gas cylinders during the fiscal year 2021 - 22, local Arabic daily Al Anbaa revealed.

According to Al Anbaa report, the average daily consumption of cooking gas cylinders in Kuwait is about 42,000. This increase came with the expansion of urban areas with new housing cities, and the increase in the population.

There are 76 branches of gas distribution centers, covering all regions of Kuwait. The Kuwait Oil Tanker Company has two gas factories for filling cooking gas cylinders, namely the Shuaiba and Umm Al-Aish factory.

EXPAT

Just wanted to ask as to why the lighter version of the cylinders were discontinued ( Blue and orange). It was a blessing to people living on the third floor with no Elevators. KOTC collected an additional charge when we swapped for the lighter cylinders but no money was returned when they were recalled.
Secondly why do dome of the Gas Depot refuse to serve EXPATS if they are not from the same Area
