Kuwait Airways, on Tuesday, announced that all its flights to Dubai are rescheduling due to bad weather conditions in Dubai. The decision is based on the instructions from Dubai International Airport authorities.

Kuwait Airways added in its official account on the social networking site (X) that the rescheduling came out of concern for the safety of passengers. Kuwait Airways informed that the passengers will be communicated via SMS.

Dubai on Tuesday experienced flash flooding after heavy rain plunged the city causing delays and cancellations in flights as well as public transportation.

Reportedly, the airport was shut down for 30 minutes and several flights were diverted on Tuesday due to major flooding on access roads around Dubai leading to the airport, causing significant disruptions in operations.

Dubai Airport earlier announced that they are temporarily diverting arriving flights Tuesday evening until the weather conditions improve, while the departures will continue to operate.
