
The Directorate General of of Civil Aviation reported on Tuesday that Kuwait International Airport is expecting around 5,570,000 passengers during the current summer holiday, which will start from the beginning of June and last till the middle of September.
Acting Deputy Director General for Aviation Safety, Air Transport and Civil Aviation Security, Abdullah Al-Rajhi, told News Agency that about 42,117 flights are expected to operate during this period.
This includes services to some seasonal destinations including Malaga, Trabzon, Sarajevo, Bodrum, Nice, Sharm El-Sheikh, Vienna, Salalah, Antalya, and Krakow in Poland.
The most popular destinations expected to be Dubai, Cairo, Jeddah, Istanbul and Doha.
