Jiyaan Lamba, a 4.5-year-old Indian child residing in Kuwait, has achieved the extraordinary feat by becoming a member of Mensa, the prestigious high-IQ society. Jiyaan's exceptional cognitive abilities at such a young age have set him apart, showcasing a promising future ahead.
Mensa International is the largest and oldest high-IQ society globally, boasting over 140,000 members across 100 countries. Membership in Mensa is reserved for individuals scoring at or above the 98th percentile on standardized IQ tests, placing them among the top 2% of the population in terms of intelligence.
Ahead of induction into Mensa society, in the Psycho-educational and developmental Assessments, Jiyaan scored an SQ of 172.51, signifying a Very Superior social age. His Developmental Age, assessed using DST, was found to be 192.46, corresponding to that of a 7-year-old and 5 months, placing him in the Very Superior development category overall. Additionally, his IQ scores reached 169.23, solidifying his place in the Very Superior range.
Mensa prides itself as "the world's leading high IQ society," offering its members a platform to socialize with like-minded individuals, intellectually challenge themselves, and partake in stimulating activities.
In the past, Jiyaan had already garnered several accolades, including recognition in Kalam’s World Records for his extraordinary grasping power, gold medals in the Magic Book of Records, and prestigious awards like the Diamond Award and Asia Star Icon Achievers Award.
Jiyaan is the son of Mrs. Suganya Gopal and Mr. Jatin Lamba, originally from Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, and is currently enrolled in UKG at Carmel School.
