The Kuwait Meteorological Department said that the country is expected to witness scattered rain that may be thundery at times, starting from Wednesday noon, until Thursday evening.
The director of the department, Abdulaziz Al-Qarawi, told the Kuwait News Agency that the rain will be accompanied by active winds causing dust, leading to reduced horizontal visibility in some areas, especially exposed areas, with rising sea waves.
Al-Qarawi added that the country is affected by the extension of a surface air depression accompanied by a humid air mass that coincides with the presence of a depression. The air depression is expected to recede late Thursday evening and weather conditions will start stabilize.
