Kuwait implemented bio-metric fingerprint scanning at all borders and citizen and residents are required to complete their bio-metric scanning in coming days. You can book an appointment to do the scan at the available centers other than the airport.

The booking for bio-metric scan is currently through the META platform and here is the step by step guide on completing the booking.

Step 1 is to Login to the Meta website.

Login to the META platform at https://metaprodapp.azurewebsites.net/En/

If you don't have a user id, you must register first. You need your Civil ID, Serial Number, Mobile Number and Email to register

Step 2: Search Appointment booking.

Once you login, from the dashboard, go to "Appointment Search" and select Ministry of Interior and click on "Service Categories"

Step 3: Pick the General Department of Personal Identification.

Under Ministry of Interior, you may see a list of services. Under this select "General Department of Personal Identification" and click on Services.

Step 4: Find and apply for biometric enrollment

Until you come across "Bio-metric Enrollment," keep scrolling. There is a 'Apply' button next to this selection on the right. To continue with the appointment booking, click on it.

Step 5: Decide on your ideal location

You will be given many location choices on the Bio-metric Enrollment page. Depending on where you live, pick the location that is most convenient for you.

Step 6: Select the available Time and Date

You can select a convenient date and time for your appointment as per the availability at the desired location.

Step 7: Verify and Complete the Appointment

After checking everything you submitted, confirm your appointment. Once this step is finished, a confirmation should be sent to you. When you visit the place, bring the printed or screenshot of the qr code with you.

Please take your Civil ID with you to the appointment.
