In Abdali, located on the Iraq border of Kuwait, laborers working on farms and elsewhere for very low wages received essential aid from Kasaragod residents in Kuwait. The aid included legal assistance for those facing legal difficulties, new clothes, food kits, and more. The visit aimed not only to provide these materials but also to offer psychological support to workers often overlooked by regular social workers, especially those working in harsh weather conditions in remote areas.
Previously, this group had conducted similar activities in Wafra and Kabd, visiting workers during their shifts. The workers mentioned that it was after months that they were seeing people from outside. The team included Sathar Kunnil leading the effort, along with Kabeer Manjampara, Salam Kalanad, C.H. Kunji, Jaleel Arikkady, Haneef Palayi, Nizam Mukood, Khalid Pallikkara, Azhar Kumbla, Rafiq Olavara, Siddique Sharqi, Hassan Balla, Qutub, and Muneer Ballakad.
