Kuwait Tamil Sangam (KTS) Kuwait celebrated Family Day “Kudumba Vizha”

Kuwait Tamil Sangam (KTS) Kuwait celebrated Family Day “Kudumba Vizha”; the event was held on Friday, 17th May 2024 at Carmel School, Khaitan. The event started traditionally with Lighting of Kuthuvilakku followed by Tamil Thai Vaazhthu and National Anthem of Kuwait.

Welcome address delivered by Mr. Thimmarayan and General Secretory Dr. Sami P. Venkat consolidated report of the events held so far in their tenure. He also thanked all the sponsors for their support throughout the year and the members of KTS for their unstinted cooperation and encouragement. Treasurer Mr. Raj Narayanan presented the Financial statement for the year 2023-24.

The Family Day aimed to foster a sense of camaraderie among the KTS members and their families, providing a platform for them to unwind and create lasting memories.

During the course of the day, Dances and skits were performed by energetic and enthusiastic KTS members.

Honorary Speaker of the event, Dr Parveen Sultana delivered an enthralling speech which was very much important today, explained in an interesting way and well appreciated by the audience.

A sumptuous breakfast in the morning kept everybody energized and Delicious lunch was served in banana leaf to conclude the event.

KTS members celebrated with a fun-packed day, full of activities, delicious food and everyone enjoyed the delicious breakfast and lunch served by Udayam Restaurant.
