ICSK Khaitan celebrated India’s 75th Republic Day on 28th January, 2024 in the school premises with a sense of great éclat, immense pride and patriotic zeal.
The prestigious programme commenced with a huge procession with the band troupe, marching towards the resplendent celebration ground. The celebration was initiated with Islamic prayer, followed by the unfurling of the National Flag by the honourable chief guest Mr. Agnello Fernandes, Hon. Joint Secretary, Board of Trustees, ICSK.
After welcoming, Principal Mr. K. G. Shirsath felicitated the chief guest and invited him for his valuable address.
The programme continued with the display of cultural activities including the extremely illuminating tableaux depicting various states of India and their heritage.
The celebration ended with the melodious choir singing a fusion of patriotic songs that espoused different values of patriotism, unity, peace and liberty. With a salute to the motherland, the students marked the closure of the ceremony.
