The AMERICAN SOCIETY OF SAFETY PROFESSIONALS (ASSP) Kuwait Chapter is an ISO 9001 certified NON profit making voluntary organisation in the state of Kuwait conducted Away day on 17th February 2023.
ASSP Kuwait Chapter’s “Community Outreach Program” is aimed at connecting the community to our daily lives by providing volunteer help and educating them regarding Health, Safety and Environment for a better tomorrow. In the past our outreach activities like ASSP Pupils HSE Week, Clean Up Campaigns, Driving Awareness, & Poster Competitions were great success with the active participation of school children, Community and companies around Kuwait.
As part of the annual plan the chapter organised ASSP Kuwait Chapter’s Away Day with the theme : REDUCE PLASTIC USAGE , SAVE ENVIRONMENT on 17th February 2023 at Wafra Chalet. The event will create an awareness about plastic usage and the harm made to our mother earth. As part of the campaign we are expecting about 170 plus Participants from ASSP fraternity including HSE Professionals and their family members. The day was filled with sporting events like Foot Ball and tug of war for Gents, Face painting, Bubble show and Magic show for kids and Fun games such as lemon spoon race, running for Kids, Ladies, etc. on
M/s. FALCON PLUS General Trading Company a PPE supplying company for oil sector provided the sponsorship and FR winter jacket for two lucky winners among the participants.
In the Closing ceremony Mr. Abul Efham Secretary, thanked the Chapter Administration & Operations Team, Advisory & Executive Committee Members. He extended special thanks to Eng. Fadhel Al Ali, Chairman ASSP Kuwait Chapter for his inspiration, encouragement and consistent support for bringing the outdoor programs for the benefit of chapter members and consequent success of the Kuwait chapter.
The Away day 2023 was lead by the outreach committee by Mr. Ahmad Al Shatti Head and Mr. Balvant Singh, Dy.Head and members of Outreach Committee. The arrangement was exceptionally done to match the theme of the event.
The concluding ceremony featured the Lucky draw prizes and gifts for the winners and participants. The Core Committee members of ASSP Kuwait Chapter distributed the prizes and the gifts.
The day was concluded with vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Kashif Vali Syed , Treasurer of ASSP Kuwait Chapter. He specially thanked the families of members for allowing ASSP members to volunteering their service to the ASSP throughout the year by sacrificing their family time.
The program concluded with a special gift to all Kids by ASSP Kuwait Chapter.
