Silence

Silence

What happens when the eerie sounds stop for a while?

Does it distract you?

Does it make you feel queasy and unentertained?

Does it make you deprived of the speech you wait to hear?

Does silence have a piece of background music?

Perhaps, a heartbeat or a violin tune?

A different array of emotions does silence signifies..

A plethora of paradoxes does it symbolize.

Getting to the core,

Silence can be the aftermath of certain possibilities..

Either a victory or a fight,

Is it an unspoken awkwardness or the happiness of being together?

Is it a moment to weep in silence or to smile?

Is it a moment to allow yourself to drown in the miry depths?

Is it a moment to celebrate your life on Earth?

Is it the unspoken trauma you’re fighting?

Is it the aftermath of an incident that weighs you down?

What is it?

Offer me one!

A plethora of unanswered questions,

More than questions lay the emotions that offer the former.

But, doesn’t the gaze, smile or expressions justify the silence?

It does but doesn’t it get lost in its translation?

Silence, in all its meaning, is unique and different.

Standing for peace, faith and hope,

Doesn’t it ignite something as time passes?

As time heals, does silence heal wounds?

Does it help us to forget instead of introspecting it?

But what is the use if we allow it to attack us again?

What would you choose when you break down?

Silence or the noise of yours which distinguishes pros and cons?

The colour and emotional palettes differ for both!

Choosing one forever can be dangerous.

How far or how long will it continue?

How long will this monotonous cycle go?

Does it have a breaking point?

It surely does!
