Bharathiya Pravasi Parishad, Kuwait conducts BPP Cricket Tournament - Season 2

Bharathiya Pravasi Parishad, Kuwait (BPP) a well known Pan India Socio Cultural organization conducted BPP Cricket Tournament - Season 2 finals at Abuhalifa grounds on Friday, 2nd December 2022.

16 teams participated in the knock out tournament which started 6 weeks ago. Scorpion Kuwait beat NAGA Xl in the finals to win the coveted trophy. Earlier, captains of both teams cut the cake symbolizing the theme of the tournament - ‘BPP - Spirit of Cricket’.

Winners and Runner up teams were awarded with trophies as well as prize money. Medals were given to all players who participated in the finals.

Final Match and prize distribution ceremony were telecasted live on social media. Mr. Karthikeyan - General Secretary BPP Tamil wing, compered the program.

Mr. Sampath Kumar - BPP Vice President and Mr Santhose Mani organized the Season-2 tournament with the support of BPP Tamil Wing office bearers Mr. Rajaram (treasurer), Mr. Sakthivel, Mr. Mannai Raja, Mr. Vinodh, Mr. Nagaraj, Mr. Palani Rajan and Mr. Vaiparan.

Entire team of BPP including Mr. Binoy Sebastian - President, Mr. Rajiv - Organization Secretary, Mr. Sudhir V. Menon - General Secretary, Mr. Surendran – Treasurer, Mr. Biswa Ranjan Sahoo – Fahaheel Area President provided entire support in conducting the tournament.

Gift coupons sponsored by Kapico Travels were also distributed during the event.
