India XI vs Afghanistan Xi

India XI won the toss and elected to bat first .

India XI scored 197 / 5 in 20 overs on the back of fine half centuries from Usman Gani who scored 50 runs in 37 balls and Edson Silva scoring unbeaten 67 runs in 49 balls. Shiraz Khan and Nithin Saldhana’s valuable 27 off 18 balls and 14 off 3 balls respectively helped India XI get closer to 200. In reply Afghanistan XI were bundled out for 42 runs on the back of 5 wickets from Yasin Patel and 4 wickets by Shiraz khan.

Shiraz khan was declared Man of the Match for his fine all round performance.

India XI will now face Sri Lanaka XI in a massive semi final today (Thursday) as the winner will take on Pakistan XI in the grand finale scheduled for Friday 10th June at 8:15PM at Sulaibiya Cricket Ground.
