16,000 travel bans in two month

The Ministry of Justice statistics revealed that about 16,000 travel bans were issued against citizens and expatriates during the month of January and February this year.

6,642 travel ban orders were issued in January, while 9,006 travel ban orders were issued in February.

According to statistics, Ahmadi recorded the highest number with 4,321 travel ban orders, followed by Farwaniya (3,641), Hawally (2,452), Jahra (2,381), Kuwait City (1,757), and Mubarak Al-Kabeer (1,096).
