In a follow-up and continued efforts to control all narcotics operation in the country, the Ministry of Interior, in cooperation with the Coast Guard, thwarted an attempt to smuggle about 120 kilos of narcotic hashish and 1 kilo of narcotic opium to the country by sea.
Authorities arrested three people during the operation and the accused and the seized items are being referred to the competent authority in order to take the necessary legal measures.
