Saradhi Kuwait conducted Sargasangamam 2020, the Annual Festival for Art & Culture of Saradhi Kuwait comprising of performances and completions of various artistic and cultural events among members of Saradhi Kuwait and their children.
The festivity commenced on January 17, 2020, extended for Three days at different venues. The unique opportunity to showcase creativity amidst the busy lifestyle, over 950 participants of various levels from Kindergarten to General Category have exhibited their talents in 62 various artistic, cultural and literary events including poetry, music, fine arts and performing arts. Highly competent and renowned artists and professionals from the larger Indian Community were assigned to evaluate and judge the performances of competitors.
The closing ceremony of cultural competitions was held on January 31,2020 at Carmel School, Khaitan, started with the prayer “Daivadashakam”. Saradhi Kuwait Vice President Mr. Vinod Kumar inaugurated the function and the Program General Convener Mrs. Liny Jayan welcomed the gathering. Saradhi General Secretary Aji KR, Saradhi Trust Chairman Suresh K, and Vanitha vedi Chairperson Mrs. Bindhu Sajeev gave felicitations. Vote of thanks was proposed by Mr. Biju CV, Treasurer of Saradhi Kuwait. The venue was enriched by various dignitaries and a strong audience from 14 units of Saradhi, their family and friends. Sargasangamam 2020, exhibiting the exceptional organizational skills of Saradhi, is yet another golden feather in the cap of Saradhi Kuwait.
All the winners were awarded with trophies and certificates.
Saradhi Mangaf West Unit became the overall champion and won the coveted Kumaranasan Memorial Ever-rolling Trophy, Fahahael Unit became the 1st Runner-up and Mangaf East Unit became 2nd Runner-up.
The following individuals who scored maximum points in each category were declared as Kalaprathibha and Kalathilakam and awarded with special trophies.
