Lulu Hypermarket, the leading retailer in the region, launched its Global Tastes 2018 food festival with a grand inauguration on 27 September at the hypermarket’s Al-Rai outlet.

The event was inaugurated by celebrity chef, Abdul Razak Elsaid in the presence of top Lulu management in Kuwait, and a large gathering of shoppers and well-wishers.

Earlier, a preview of the promotion was inaugurated on 26 September at the Jahra outlet by celebrity chef, Wafaa Alkandary.

The food festival, which runs from 26 September to 6 October in all Lulu Hypermarket branches in the country, is a wonderful opportunity for shoppers to taste international food delicacies and shop for global food products available at very special prices during the promotion period.

Special competitions and activities are being held at the hypermarket’s outlets during the 11-day ‘Global Tastes 2018’ food festival, including live cooking demos by celebrity chefs, junior cookery contests and junior chef contests.

By providing a sampling of foods from around the world, the ‘Global Tastes 2018’ food festival underlines Lulu Hypermarket as the place ‘where the world comes to shop’. The festival also reiterates the Hypermarket’s commitment to interacting with their customers through attractive promotional campaigns throughout the year that offer shoppers the widest variety of quality products at very competitive prices.
