Beating Covid the Indian way! Indian Sweets to Kuwaiti officials and Ambassadors

As the Covid pandemic once again took us back to a difficult period and forced us to cancel public gatherings, Indian Ambassador Shri Sibi George found a unique way to celebrate the Republic Day with other Ambassadors and Kuwaiti dignitaries without flouting Covid rules.

Ambassador arranged and despatched special Indian sweet boxes to all Ambassadors and Senior Kuwaiti officials.

Every year, the Indian Ambassador used to host a reception to celebrate Republic day by inviting Ambassadors of all other countries, Kuwaiti Ministers, and senior officials to experience the celebration. This year, Republic Day became a virtual event due to the pandemic, and the evening reception was cancelled. However, the guests, including Kuwaiti Ministers, Governors, Ambassadors of other countries and senior Kuwaiti officials, received beautifully packed Indian sweets, including Kaju Katli, Motichoor laddu, dry fruit roll, Mango barfi etc to enjoy.
