Asian arrested for forging  Ministry   stamps on gold ornaments

The Ministry of Interior arrested an Asian national for forging the Ministry of Commerce stamp on gold ornaments.

The man forges the Ministry of Commerce stamps on gold ornaments for jewellery shops which is a mandatory requirement in Kuwait to sell an ornament in Kuwait. Ministry of Commerce check the purity and weights of gold ornaments before it is being sold in the shop.

The man was arrested by Criminal Security department and the Ministry of Commerce in a joint operation. A laser device and a laptop computer related to the process of forging the stamp was seized from him.
