Bhavans Smart Indian School Conducts Investiture ceremony of the Supreme Council members

The newly elected Supreme Council of Students was sworn in on Wednesday 18 May 2022. Principal Mahesh Iyer administered the oath of office to the council members.

The guests were received by the BSS Cadets by giving the Guard of Honor. This was followed by a march past of the newly elected Council members and the House Captains.

Public events began after the Kuwait national anthem and recitation of the Holy Quran.

Nabil Gumaa and Altaf Jasem Hayat, Acting Presidents of the Private Schools of the Government of Kuwait, presided over the grand ceremony, which took place on Wednesday, May 18th in the school auditorium.

Bhavans Middle East Chairman NK Ramachandran Menon presided and spoke at the function. He opined that such opportunities are practical to cultivate civic awarenessand a sense of responsibility in students.

Ashwanth Reagan, Head Boy of the school, and Janet Joanna George, Head Girl of the school, spoke on behalf of the newly elected council. Former school head girl Neha Kurian expressed her gratitude by giving the welcome speech and Former Head Boy Mohammad Abdul Hadi gave the Vote of Thanks.

Students were presented with the Proficiency, Math Wizard and Scholar Badge Awards for the previous academicyear. The event was organizedby Deepa Antony, Head of Sports Department, Smart Indian School, and was attended by a large number of students, teachers and parents. The program concluded with the singing of the Indian NationalAnthem.
