The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) Kuwait Chapter organized a Badminton Tournament-Doubles exclusively for its members and their families at Fahaheel Sports Club.The Tournament received an overwhelming response from over 150 members and their families. It was held in four categories (Men-Doubles, Women-Doubles, Boys-Doubles and Girls-Doubles) with Winners and Runners Up in each category being awarded trophies and medals respectively.
James Mathew and Sanjay Mathew Roy were the winners of Men Doubles while Mayank Agarwal and Lalbabu Mahato were runners up in this category. Rachel Mathullaand Eleena Sara Mathew were winners of Women doubles followed by Amruta Laddhad and Sumita Agrawal as runners up. Mathew James and Elvis ChackoMathew were the winners of Boys doubles followed by Krish Neotia and Ayush Ravikiran as runners up. Ummekulsoom Mahudhawala and Emley Elizabeth Mathew were the winners of Girls doubles while Lulua Dakorwala and Maryam Chorghay were the runners up in this category.
CA Deepak Bindal, Chairman of ICAI Kuwait Chapter, congratulated all the winners and participants for their participation and in making the event successful and mentioned that such events will promote the spirit of sportsmanship and bonding among members and their families. It was a fun-filled day and the members and their families enjoyed the evening. The presentation ceremony was conducted by CA Umesh Soni, Lead Social and Sports Committee and the trophies were handed over by the Chairman and the Committee Members.
