Indo Kuwait Relations

Monday, February 17, 2020

Indeed no two countries are identical…
Neither can the gloom of
Deep darkness; destroy the tie
Between India and Kuwait.

Indo-Kuwait relations have
Always been major!
Therefore ages and ages hence,
Traditionally, historically and geographically
Serves as a channel of unity for all.

We started as a neighbour,
Today we are knitted with love:
While none of us can choose were to be born
We can move to places that we have chosen.

Kuwait has always shared
Historical trade with India.
Believing in different caste, creed, colour
And traditions: we cherish
Our natural resources, history and romance
As a sacred heritage.

Like the flock of birds,
Who leaves their trees and nest.
We sweat in hot dry day
Detaching amid thoughts,
From the versions of night…

We have been exchanging
Oil and Indian currency
From the past.

Over the rich horizon,
I was born in Kuwait!
Rather owe to open up
To liberate Kuwait that day.

Our men in uniform fought,
For both India and Kuwait
The battles in which
We were locked’
“Today is the mother
Of all the battles….”
