I love Kuwait

The first time I came to Kuwait was when I was 4 years old. I didn't know much about this foreign land. The country of Kuwait is located in the Middle East, between the countries of Saudi Arabia and Iraq, and is bordered by the Persian Gulf. When I came here I was surprised because Kuwait was quite different from India in the case of cleanliness and amenities.

Kuwait was actually a regional trade port before the discovery of oil. Several years later, the late Amir of Kuwait inaugurated the export of Kuwait’s first shipment of crude oil. Soon after, new fields were developed and export facilities expanded. Actually I came to know about Kuwait from my father as he knew it all. Today, Kuwait is the world's tenth largest oil exporter and oil composes seventy-five percent of the government's annual income, Kuwait is known for its rich history, vibrant culture, and modern infrastructure, which attract both business and leisure travelers.

Even though it might be a dry desert and not as colourful as India, Kuwait is simply mesmeric with the enthralling 3600 view from the Kuwait tower, beautiful sea, sea shore, vast deserts at the borders, agricultural farms, rich landscapes with lots of flowers, spacious gardens with soft lawn grasses and trees, beautiful malls, water theme parks, football grounds, the beautiful skyline during sunset, the replica of the Indian Taj Mahal and much more.

One thing that has really caught my interest about Kuwait is the fact that women have many of the same rights as men. Women also enjoy a central role in their families. They are able to go out and travel on their own, drive cars, get education and are allowed to dress any way they want to. It isn't uncommon to see Kuwaiti women dressed in western style clothing walking through the streets of Kuwait's cities.

It was here where I got my little sister and we both grew up. I like Kuwait not only because of its beauty, but also due to its safety standards and facilities it provides us. For me Kuwait is like my second home. I love Kuwait.
