Land I Call ‘Home’

Monday, February 19, 2024

Kuwait such a wonderful place,
The city that never stops to amaze.
The beautiful barren desert lands,
With tall palm trees and golden sands

Swaying date palms, strive to thrive
In all possible seasons they find ways to survive.
The weather here can’t ever make up its mind
Hot or Cold it never even tries to be kind.

Towering minarets that touch the sky,
Resounds with soothing call for prayers so high.
This land I call ‘Home’ cradles the reservoirs of black gold,
Inspiring tens of thousands, shaping millions of dreams untold.
