‘AMANTRYA’ – ICSK Amman BLESSES Outgoing Students

Thursday, 21st February 2019 was a day of mixed feelings at ICSK Amman as the farewell and blessing ceremony “AMANTRYA” was organized to bid a warm farewell to the outgoing students of Class X.

It was a unique farewell as students from classes VI to IX joined hands in organizing the cultural show. The outgoing students were fortunate to have amongst them many of those molding hands who have been their guiding force from Kindergarten to Class X.

The auspicious occasion began with the lighting of the lamp and an invocation dance. The Senate Advisor Mrs. Jaya Nirmal welcomed the gathering. The Senate President Master Ervin Castelino shared the reminiscences of his days in alma mater.

Principal Mr. Rajesh Nair addressed the outgoing students and wished them a very bright and successful future. The surprise element of the day was a cake cutting organized by all the Class X teachers for one of their most disciplined and loving batch of Class X students.

The truly exceptional students were honoured with the best awards by the Principal Mr. Rajesh Nair and Vice Principal Dr. Mary Isaac for their remarkable achievements in academics, arts & sports. Students who had 100% attendance during the academic year were also honoured.

As a token of love and appreciation a memento was also presented to all the students by Mrs. Julie Antony, Mrs. Jafree Banu and Mrs. Accamma John. On behalf of all the staff members, class teachers of Class X addressed the students. Vice President of the Senate Ms. Rachel proposed the vote of thanks.

The solemn function culminated with the blessing ceremony. Vice Principal Dr. Mary Isaac briefed the students about the significance of the ceremony which was followed by the staff members forming the corridor of blessings as the choir rendered the time honoured “Showers of Blessings” and the outgoing students seeking the blessings of the Principal and all their teachers.
